Statistics & Player Numbers

Hi Guys,

The standings and statistics are updated as of Week 2. There are few errors to work out with the stats. This is due to some missing player numbers. You can check your number in the team lists to see if you are missing your number.

However, we should have this worked out via the Captains by the end of this week.

Cheers,
Sam

2015 – 2016 : Week 1

Hi Boys,

Week 1 has come and gone. It is my understanding there the early game and the middle game were both close fun games. The Blackhawks took the early game 8-6 over the Bruins. In the middle game the Rangers defeated the Maple Leafs 6-4. The late game was won by the Candadiens 5-3 against the Red Wings.

I have been recording the stats on my internal tracker. It will take me a bit of time to get the new players and teams sorted. But it will be done over the next week.

Best Regards,
Sam

2015 Champions

Congratulations to the Canadiens who are this years 2015 Simons Hockey Champions. They took the final game of the year against the Bruins. It was a beauty of a game! Down 2-0 for most of the hockey game. The Canadiens scored two late goals to tie it. In a Simons first, neither the Bruins nor the Canadiens could finish the job in regulation or overtime.

The final came down to a shootout! Drew Robertson and Yves Trividic were forced to battle it out for the cup! Yves was able to stop all three shots fired at him. Mike Harvey was able to score the lone goal for the Canadiens to seal the victory for the Canadiens.

Cheers to another great season boys! We’ll see you in September.
