Hi Gary,
The arrival of the 2018 Simons website is upon us! Len is tirelessly working to update the schedule, standings, and stats. Please check back here over the next week to see updates and check how why you’re not number one on the stats list.
Cheers,
The Commish
Hi Guys,
The standings and statistics are updated as of Week 2. There are few errors to work out with the stats. This is due to some missing player numbers. You can check your number in the team lists to see if you are missing your number.
However, we should have this worked out via the Captains by the end of this week.
Cheers,
Sam
Hi Boys,
We are finally here the 2015-2016 Simons Hockey Playoff finals! It has been an exciting playoffs. In this years final the Rangers will face off against the Canadiens. The final will take place at 6:45PM.
Please be aware if you are going to watch at ice level to keep your drinks non-alcoholic.
The middle game will be the played between the Blackhawks and Bruins, as the Bruins take the head-to-head tie-breaker against the Red Wings.
The early game will be between the Maple Leafs and the Red Wings.
Cheers and thank you all for a great season of Simons Hockey.
Sam

Hi Guys,
Sorry for the delay was waiting on the final score from last week. I’m still getting final confirmation for the stats for last week as well before they go up. But I have updated to last week.
Cheers,
Sam
Hi Boys,
Week 2 of the pre-season has concluded. The Red Wings failed to take advantage of 20 minutes of empty net and lost to the Maple Leafs 5-2 in the early game. In the middle game the Canadiens and Bruins tied 5-5. The late game was taken by the Blackhawks, who improve to 2-0, over the Rangers 5-3.
Next week the schedule is:
5:15PM – Maple Leafs (H) vs Canadiens
5:45PM – Blackhawks vs Red Wings (H)
6:45PM – Bruins (H) vs Rangers
Cheers,
Sam
Hi Boys,
Week 1 has come and gone. It is my understanding there the early game and the middle game were both close fun games. The Blackhawks took the early game 8-6 over the Bruins. In the middle game the Rangers defeated the Maple Leafs 6-4. The late game was won by the Candadiens 5-3 against the Red Wings.
I have been recording the stats on my internal tracker. It will take me a bit of time to get the new players and teams sorted. But it will be done over the next week.
Best Regards,
Sam
Congratulations to the Canadiens who are this years 2015 Simons Hockey Champions. They took the final game of the year against the Bruins. It was a beauty of a game! Down 2-0 for most of the hockey game. The Canadiens scored two late goals to tie it. In a Simons first, neither the Bruins nor the Canadiens could finish the job in regulation or overtime.
The final came down to a shootout! Drew Robertson and Yves Trividic were forced to battle it out for the cup! Yves was able to stop all three shots fired at him. Mike Harvey was able to score the lone goal for the Canadiens to seal the victory for the Canadiens.
Cheers to another great season boys! We’ll see you in September.
