Week 15

Hi Boys,

I hope everyone had a good holiday. It was definitely rough sailing out there after all that turkey for myself. The week ended the same as it start the Blackhawks, Rangers, and the Bruins are all tied for first place with 19 points.

The Bruins took the early game 6-1. In the middle game the Rangers defeated the Canadiens 7-4. The late game was won by the Blackhawks 8-5 over the Maple Leafs.

The schedule for next week is the following:

5:15PM – Blackshawks vs Bruins
5:45PM – Canadiens vs Red Wings
6:45PM – Rangers vs Maple Leafs

Week Off

Hi Boys,

I know I haven’t been making weekly posts this year. I’ll try to remedy that here with this post.

This week we have a bye due to a hockey tournament over the Remembrance Day long weekend.

I would also encourage every one to take some time to remember our current and fallen veterans this coming weekend.

Week 19 Update

Gentlemen,

This week saw the Bruins wrap up the President’s Trophy with a win over the Maple Leafs 5-2. The Canadiens determined to push hard into the playoffs beat out the Blackhawks 3-2. While the Rangers continued their crusade to stay at .500 win rate falling to the Red Wings 9-2.

Next week is the last week of the Regular Season. The game line up will be:

5:15PM – Rangers vs Canadiens (H)
5:45PM – Bruins (H) vs Red Wings
6:45PM – Blackhawks vs Maple Leafs (H)

Week 17 – January 18th Matchups

Gentlemen,

This week in play we have the Maple Leafs playing the Red Wings in the Early Game. Participating in the Middle Game is the Blackhawks and Rangers. Lastly in the Late Game it is the Bruins facing off against the Canadiens.

For anyone that is wondering where the hell the stats went? Please know that they will be updated shortly.

We’re back in action tonight after our two week Christmas break. Tonight’s game line up is as follows:

5:15PM: Bruins (H) vs Red Wings
5:45PM: Rangers (H) vs Canadiens
6:45PM: Blackhawks vs Maple Leafs (H)

Week 13 Update

Hey Boys,

It has been a few weeks since a formal update post. But the site has been keeping up stats and standings during this time.

This past week we saw the Rangers and the Bruins play the early game. It was a close game that finished accordingly, in a 4-4 tie. In the middle game we had the Blackhawks and Red Wings face-off. The Hawks took the game 3 goals to 1. Finally in the late game the Maple Leafs won a decisive victory over the Canadiens 8-4.

As a reminder this week is the final week before Christmas break. Here is the schedule:

5:15PM – Rangers (H) vs Red Wings
5:45PM – Bruins vs Maple Leafs (H)
6:45PM – Blackhawks vs Canadiens (H)

The league is back in action on January 4, 2012.

Week 9 Update

Gentlemen,

This week in Simons Hockey we had the Blackhawks and Canadiens face-off in the early game. The Canadiens were able to get an all to precious W by defeating the Hawks 9-2. In the middle game the Bruins and Maple Leafs squared off. The Bruins fell for the second straight week 8-3, this puts the Leafs within two points of the league leader. In the late game The Red Wings defeated the Bruins 4-2.

We head into Week 10 our final week before a tournament break on November 16th. The standings are starting to tighten up. The Bruins once commanding lead has been cut to two points by the Leafs. While the Canadiens have all but caught up to the Rangers, Blackhawks and Red Wings. This last game before the break will set a great stage for the back half of 2012 portion of the season.

Week 8 Update

Gentlemen,

Last week was another great week for Simons. We saw the Bruins suffer their first defeat at the hands of the Rangers 4-2 in the early game. The Red Wings and Blackhawks faced each other in the middle game. The Hawks edged out the Wings 5-3. Finally in the late game the Maple Leafs defeated the Canadiens by a score of 12-2.

This week we’ll see all the teams in action again. Here is the schedule.

5:15PM – Blackhawks (H) vs Canadiens
5:45PM – Bruins (H) vs Maple Leafs
6:45PM – Rangers vs Red Wings (H)

Week 6 Results

Gentlemen,

Another great week in Simons. We saw the Bruins stretch their hold on the standings by defeating the Blackhawks 5-2. A great close game between the Maple Leafs and the Rangers 7-6. The winner was scored with 20 seconds left to go. The late game had the Canadiens and the Red Wings tie.

The standings are shaping up nice you can see them here. Second place is up for grabs as we’re almost half way to Christmas Break.

On another positive note Paul Gruber is out of the hospital after a successful stay. Thank you to all who signed cards and contacted him.

Week 3 Results

Gentlemen,

This week in the action we saw the Maple Leafs play the Canadiens to a 6-6 tie in the early game. In the middle game we had the Blackhawks grab their first win of the season over the Red Wings 9-2. Finally in the late game the Bruins took sole possession of first place with a win over the Rangers 6-4.

The schedule for Week 4, September 28 is as follows:
